Doing the laundry may sound like an easy task but that isn’t always the case. At times, you’re left wondering how to remove the stains on your kids’ clothes, or how to make their uniforms so white they still look brand new. TV host and mom-of-two Melai Cantiveros shares her own laba tips during the Bagong Bili o Bagong Laba Fashion Walk-Off of Tide.
Wash and dry well
Melai says that in doing the laundry, she makes sure that her children’s clothes are washed well to ensure that no bubbles or soap residue will remain. She also wants to avoid the kulob smell on clothes.
As for drying the laundry, Melai says that she doesn’t let colored clothes stay under the sun for too long.
On hanging clothes
Melai is also particular on how certain clothing articles should be hung after washing, which is something she instructs her housekeeper on times she can’t do the laundry.
Despite her busy schedule, the TV host finds the time to do the laundry because there are clothing articles that she would rather wash herself.
“Basta pag damit ng anak kong maliit, kailangan ako talaga maglalaba,” she explains. “At kailangan yung kili-kili nadadaanan mo talaga.
