Immersive VR experience for the whole family

By Kristelle Bechayda

Take your kids to a different dimension with this virtual reality theme park. Virtual PH was recently launched and is now open to the public. Located at the Ayala Malls Feliz in Pasig City, it offers a state-of-the-art selection of virtual reality experiences that are the first in the country.

Through its modern VR equipment and robust collection of games, Virtual PH will not only give you and your family a captivating VR experience but also bring you a glimpse into the future of virtual reality. Here are some of the fun activities you and the whole family can try out:

Kat Walk VR

Imagine being able to walk, run, crouch, and even jump in the same spot while playing a virtual reality game. Virtual PH’s Kat Walk is an Omni Directional Treadmill (ODT) that is designed and developed by KATVR. It allows your kids to freely move virtually while keeping them safe and grounded in reality. The games vary from single or multiplayer shooting, RPG, and horror games.

“The Kat Walk takes your conventional arcade game and completely changes the way you’ve ever played it with others. This is the embodiment of where technology meets reality,“ says Vijay Aidasani, co-founder and president of Virtual PH.

Themed VR escape rooms

If you want an activity that involves the whole family, Virtual PH’s VR escape rooms deliver an extraordinary sensory experience that will leave you on the edge of your seats. Powered by top-of-the-line HTC Vive VR Headsets and GeForce GTX 1070 TI graphic cards, it transforms a simple four-cornered room into a unique, boundless, and immersive environment.

The VR escape rooms provide a variety of games like the Mind Horror for the mystery and horror fanatics, Cosmos for the futuristic adventurers, and Crazy Clockwork: Alice in Wonderland Stories for the kids and even the kids at heart. Around three to six players can be accommodated in every game.

Apart from the Kat Walk and VR escape rooms, Virtual PH also offers other immersive VR experiences like the VR Karts, VR Motor Racing, Eagle Flight, and Star Twin Seat simulators.

“Nowadays, we tend to stay indoors: binge-watching TV series and playing computer games at the confines of our home. With Virtual PH, we’re bringing people out of their houses again to socialize, try new things, and explore the wonders of virtual reality,” ends Vijay Aidasani.
