Mother-and-daughter picks: whimsical jewelry

By Jane Kingsu-Cheng

Since it’s arrival into Philippine shores last year, French costume jewelry Les Nereides has been making waves with its handmade and hand painted designs. Put up by couple Pascale and Enzo Amaddeo, these works of art are a representation of their journeys all over the world.

Les Nereides Philippines partners Paul Syjuco, Ninoy Rico, Khristine Dee, Peejay and Anne Yambao, Martha and Arthur King with their son.

Thirty years after, it has made its mark here in Manila. A discovery made by friends who fell in love with its exquisite and whimsical pieces. When asked what the group recommends, “We have seen that Filipinos are ballerina lovers. It is our best collection. We have three categories of the ballerinas, from miniature, big size, and luxury big size. Our flower designs change from season to season, and are inspired by the different gardens in France. The diamantine also changes colors every season, and for this collection, we are featuring plum and crystal. Our pieces are the perfect accessory to enhance your everyday look.”

  • Shamcey Supsup-Lee shows her picks.

Moms Shamcey Supsup-Lee, Issa Litton, and Sherilyn Reyes-Tan are just some of the many moms who came to the sneak preview of their Autumn-Winter collection. And true to what the partners mentioned earlier, most of the moms fell in love with the ballerina collection.

  • Les Nereides offers dainty and enchanting jewelry pieces. It also introduces their N2 line to the Philippine market, perfect for little girls.

They got even more excited with the news of the release of the N2 line. It’s a range that caters to the young and young-at-heart, comprising of fairytale-themed items such as unicorns, mermaids, beauty and the beast, and even a grumpy cat. Finally, a jewelry line that little girls can call their own. But who’s to say moms can’t share and wear them, too?
