Andi Manzano-Reyes is on her 38th week and is due anytime soon. Moms & Babies checked up on the blooming pregnant mom on how she is doing while waiting for the arrival of Baby A, whose name will be revealed when Andi gives birth.

MB: How’s everything at home?

The nursery is ready and organized because I’ve been nesting since the holidays. For the sleeping arrangements, that’s what we haven’t figured out yet. Olivia sleeps with us and I think baby number two will too, but who knows? All that can change. One day at a time.

MB: What are you most excited about?

That I’m going to be a mom of two and that I will have two girls. I grew up as the eldest for 5 (4 girls and 1 boy), so I’m really excited and we can’t wait. My mommy friends have also been mentioning that when baby number two comes you will actually be closer with the eldest since you have to balance the attention. Since I got pregnant, I’ve been teaching Olivia and getting her ready for the new baby and I believe she’s gonna be the best ate.

MB: What are the best advice you’ve received?

My radio show partners from The Mother Show, Riki and Delamar, told me to enjoy being a mom of one where somehow you still get to have some quiet time and long baths. But when baby number two arrives, they told me to get ready for the ride of my life. Haha!

A lot of moms online have also mentioned that you will be amazed at how your heart will even grow bigger with the new baby.

Other tips:

  1. Reuse what you have.
  2. Don’t over-pack for the hospital but bring the essentials because there will be extra charge for napkins, cotton balls, alcohol, etc.
  3. Spend time with your eldest and date him or her all the time.

Andi Manzano-Reyes is a radio host and a social media influencer. She is married to GP Reyes and they have a three-year-old daughter named Olivia.
