American country singer Carrie Underwood is a mom for the second time around. Last Monday, January 21, she gave birth to her son Jacob Ryan. In an Instagram post, she shared snapshots of herself, her husband Mike Fisher, and firstborn Isaiah Michael holding the new addition to the family.

“His mom, dad and big brother couldn’t be happier for God to trust them with taking care of this little miracle! Our hearts are full, our eyes are tired and our lives are forever changed.” the American Idol Season 4 winner wrote.

Having a baby once again didn’t come easy for the country singer. In the last two years, she suffered from three miscarriages- two in 2017 and another one in early 2018. With their second child finally born, Carrie and Mike consider him their “little miracle.”

“Jacob Bryan Fisher! You are a gift from our Lord! The last few years has had its challenges and it makes this moment even more sweet! We didn’t know if Izzy would ever have another sibling but we learned through it all that God is in control and his timing is perfect!” Carrie’s husband wrote.

Carrie tied the knot with former professional hockey player Mike Fisher back in 2010 and they welcomed their first child, Isaiah Michael, on February, 2015.
