When you feel that things are not going the way you wanted or planned, or when you feel like you fell short of expectations, take a look at the bigger picture and it will show you many other blessings you didn't ask for but received, and you will realize how grateful you are for everything. ❤ . . 2018 was a very tough year for me. Looking back, I realized and never expected that it brought me so many FIRSTS 🙏🏼 . . ..the latest of which was, earlier this month, Carmen's first trip and our first out of town trip as a family of four, to our favorite kind of destination, the beach 🌴 . January, the first time Lucia met my sister, her Ninang @aissagonzalez who was visiting from London 👭🏻 . May, our first out of the country trip just us three: me, @jcintal7 and Lucia. (Usually we take Ate Imelda with us, but this time we wanted QT with our firstborn before her sister would be born.) Technically, we were four because I was pregnant. It was exhausting but also so much fun ❤ . August, my first time ever to be away from Lucia for more than a weekend! Longest time away from my husband and daughter! It was a work trip literally halfway across the globe ✈ . August, by the grace of God, we opened our first franchise gas station, Phoenix along Belfast Avenue in Quezon City ⛽ . September, for the first time since Lucia was born, my husband and I went on a much-deserved trip that was just us two. #babymoon 🤰🏻 . September, also by God's grace, our first visit to the construction site of what would be our second home as a family 🏡 . October, our first time to lay eyes on our second child, Carmen Eliana 👶🏻 . November, first time for Carmen to meet my brother, her Ninong @ziggydala visiting from California; and first time for all four cousins, Roco, Sabine, Lucia and Carmen, to be together 🧒🏻👧🏻👧🏻👶🏻 . December, our first time to celebrate Christmas out of town as a family, with our whole family 🎄 . . For the good and not so good, still always thankful. 🤲🏼

Even though things were hard for her in 2018, mom-of-two Bianca is still thankful that she was able to experience a lot of firsts with her family, like their first out of the country trip last May and meeting her second child Carmen for the first time in October.

“When you feel that things are not going the way you wanted or planned, or when you feel like you fell short of expectations, take a look at the bigger picture and it will show you many other blessings you didn’t ask for but received, and you will realize how grateful you are for everything.” Bianca wrote.

Rica Peralejo-Bonifacio

Hands-on mom Rica, on the other hand, is grateful for the people who were there for her family. “I prayed for you all, who have been a part of my 2018. I am so blessed to have been a receiver of grace.” she shared.

Jolina Magdangal-Escueta

It was a rather smooth 2018 for Jolina, who shared that the year flew by quickly for her. Among the many blessings the actress received, she is most grateful for the arrival of her second child, Vika, into their lives.

Excited kami ng asawa ko na harapin ang 2019 ng buong puso at punong puno parin ng pagmamahal sa lahat ng darating. Kahit ano pang pagdaanan basta magkakayakap kaming apat…ang sarap ng buhay.” the mom-of-two said.

What about you, mommy? What are you most grateful for in your 2018?
