Five new things to look forward to in Hong Kong Disneyland this year
If you and your family have been planning to fly to Hong Kong to visit the happiest place on earth, this year would be the best time to finally do it. Hong Kong Disneyland Resort (HKDL) offers more magic with their new attractions and exclusive Disney experiences. From a castle area where your little girls can have that cool princess makeover down to little boys fighting alongside Marvel superheroes in a heroic battle, your kids will surely have something to look forward to. Here is the list of what HKDL has in store this 2019:
Ant-Man and The Wasp: Nano Battle
In this all-new interactive experience, kids will be fighting alongside Ant-Man and The Wasp from the popular film in a battle against Arnim Zola and his army of evil Hydra Swarm-bots. If that isn’t exciting enough, the actors Paul Rudd and Evangeline Lilly will be reprising their roles throughout the immersive experience. This interactive game will be open to the public on March.
Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique
Indulge your little girls’ fantasies in this upcoming new boutique where they can have a royal makeover and become their favorite Disney princesses like Cinderella, Snow White, Aurora, Belle, Elsa, and Jasmine. Plus, there will also be an interactive Magic Mirror that tells stories of their favorite princesses in an immersive setting. Opening in the summer, the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique also offers exclusive dress-up packages that would be great for different photo opportunities!
Toy Story 4 characters joining the Carnivale of the Stars
Apart from having new offerings, HKDL also added up to their existing seasonal festivals. In the upcoming “Carnivale of the Stars” on March to August, kids will not only be reconnected with their favorite characters, but they will also get to meet the stars from the upcoming film Toy Story 4.
Nemo’s Recreational Reef
Make your kids’ Disney adventure even more magical with Disney Explorers Lodge’s brand-new children’s playroom, where they can unleash their creativity through arts and crafts sessions. The playroom is inspired from the popular film “Finding Nemo” and will be open to the public this summer.
New merchandise items for Duffy and Friends
Of course, visiting HKDL will never be complete without buying from their gift shops. This year, a range of new items will be available in the park and hotels, including more than 300 new merchandise items for Duffy and Friends (including Cookie, who was just introduced last year), with varying looks for Spring, Halloween, and Christmas.
