Triplet mom gives birth to her own set of triplets
By Kristelle Bechayda
Just imagine the shock of going to your regular check-up to the obstetrician and finding out that you’re expecting not just one baby but three.
This is what happened to Judit Mandi from Norway, who found out she was actually expecting triplets during her second sonogram. “Coming out from the doctor’s office I felt a huge panic growing on me and by the time we got to our car I was crying like never before. It took us some time to process the information,” she wrote on her Instagram account.
She’s a triplet herself
As surprised as she may have been, Judit isn’t exactly new to the concept of raising three babies born at the same time. Being a triplet herself, the 31-year-old mom has basically lived her life being a part of this special kind of trio.
In a separate post, Judit shared there are actually no words that can describe being a triplet. From having to deal with comparisons to having one sibling left out when the other two are closer, Judit’s experience with her sisters Sofia and Szilvia has been a roller-coaster ride.

So how is it like to be a triplet? This question is hard to answer to. There is sooo much to say but I will attempt to somewhat give an answer. Well… write a bit about my own or better said our own experiences. . Three is an odd number and in our case it was a problem when we were young children. Two of us would pair up and the third would feel herself left alone. The good thing though that pairing up was like a rotation. Never the same two-one scenario. So at the end of the day there was not much ‘left alone’ time for any of us 😃. . Once we grew a little older our grandfather, Mikael taught us that we will always have to be there for each other. His headline was that ‘Girls! The reason you are three is because you have to protect and take care of each other!’ . And being a triplet has become something that meant the same as never being left alone, being safe and ALWAYS have someone to rely on! . The negatives of being triplets have come from the outside. Many people that have crossed our pathes decided not to treat us as individuals. They would not call us by our names but as the Mindas. School was terrible for that reason. . That period made us be rivals on some ways. We were fighting for being recognized as individuals which resulted in us trying to be better than the other two and comparing us to one another. . The ‘battling’ has become less as we grew older and by the time we’ve become teenagers it has faded away mostly. But comparison is something that’s still a part of our lives. I have always thought that Sofia was prettier, I have always wanted to have the same type of hair as Szilvia, I have always tried become as sporty as Sofia (the list is endless🙈). . So what is it like to be triplets? I do not have an answer just personal experience. . These are us at the age of 31, being individuals, being the exact same persons, being totally different, being Szilvia, Judit and Sofia and being the Mindas as well. One body 2,5 years postpartum, one 4+months post partum and one before pregnancy. We are we and comparison or not we love being tiplets ❤️❤️❤️. . . . #triplets #girls #girlpower #trillinger #sisters #beingtriplets #meandmysisters #tripletgirls
But one thing in their relationship has stayed consistent all throughout: being there for each other, as what their grandfather taught them when they were still growing up.
“Our grandfather, Mikael taught us that we will always have to be there for each other. His headline was that ‘Girls! The reason you are three is because you have to protect and take care of each other!’” Judit wrote in the caption. “And being a triplet has become something that meant the same as never being left alone, being safe and ALWAYS have someone to rely on!”
They have each other’s backs
Given she’s carrying triplets, Judit’s pregnancy hasn’t been easy. She needed constant monitoring and her growing belly made it difficult to move around, but her sisters were there all throughout to offer their support.
“It has been an amazing journey and I am so happy and thankful for being able to share it with these two ladies,” Judit wrote in another post. “Having them by my side has given me courage, helped me through tough periods and made me realize that there is nothing in life I will ever have to face alone!”

It was during late January when Judit gave birth to her own set of triplets: one girl, two boys, whom she named Amelia, Filip, Henrik. Now five months old, Judit’s babies are growing up to be adorable. She keeps her followers updated with their milestones, her own motherhood journey, and of course, her strong relationship with her sisters.
“No matter what life will bring I will always have two amazing persons to count on,” Judit said.
